Benjamin Mandell is an actor based in New York City.
Benjamin earned his BA in theater from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. Immediately after graduating, he appeared in the NYC premier of Matias Umpierrez’s LONEtheater. He played the role of Christopher Lawrence Harper, and assisted in translating the script from Spanish to English. Ben more recently played the role of Paul in a production of When We Were Young and Unafraid, by Sarah Treem, at the IATI Theater in the East Village. Recently he completed his MFA with a concentration in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. At ASDS, Ben studied under Susan Aston and previously studied under Corinne Chateau and Elizabeth Kemp. Ben's favorite roles at the Actors Studio Drama School included Joseph Pitt in Angels in America, by Tony Kushner, Richard in The Lover, by Harold Pinter Matt in Red Light Winter, by Adam Rapp, Serge in 'Art,' by Yasmina Reza, and Stephen in Welcome to the Moon, by John Patrick Shanley. In the March and April of 2018, Ben appeared in The Book of Liz, by David and Amy Sedaris, The Audition, by Neil Simon, and The Feast, by Cory Finley at 3-Legged Dog in TriBeCa.
